Place search information
Enter a place directly or select a result from Google Maps or Naver. Direct entry does not send a query to either map provider.
Search and your records
Pressing Search sends your query to the provider you selected. The diary stores your query and a reference to the selected place. Names and addresses from map providers are looked up when needed and may become unavailable if their data or results change.
Places in shared records are visible to other signed-in users. Places in private records are visible only to their owner. Deleting a record also deletes its saved place reference.
Map service terms
The Google Maps terms and privacy policy also apply when you use the Google Maps search feature.
